Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Adele lead MTV Europe race : LONDON (AP) - radically different diva Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Adele are facing off for this year's MTV Awards music in Europe.
Extravagant Lady Gaga leads the field with six nominations, including best song and video "Born This Way", and great live act.Pop songstress Katy Perry is nominated in the live act, song, pop and female performer categories.
Adele, who is known for stripped-down performances and soulful voice that is up for four awards: Best female act and the best British or Irish act, best song and best video for "Rolling Deep".
Other multiple nominees announced on Monday, including Bruno Mars, four nominations, and Justin Bieber, three of them.
Awards Ceremony, which took place in a different European city each year in Belfast, November 6.
