The Little Black Dress is a Fashion Staple

If you are looking for a Little Black Dress, (LBD as it is now called) for that next special night out, a day shopping, or a business meeting, you have come to the right place. Maybe you just need to have one on hand for those times you just don't know what else to wear. Maybe you need a Little Black Dress for a sophisticated business dinner. Perhaps Aunt Agatha passed away and you need a black dress for the funeral. Whatever the occasion may be, having at the very least one little black dress in your closet is one of the "must haves" of the fashion industry. Having three or four is even better!

Why is the LBD so crucial? Because the Little Black Dress is the classic, timeless, most functional and adaptable dress that never goes out of style. It can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the event or the season. I personally like having (at the very least) a long sleeve little black dress, a sleeveless little black dress, a capped sleeve little black dress, and a strapless little black dress. If you are the fashionista, you must own several little black dresses.

Why so many?

You never know what occasion may arrive or what the season may be that will make the LBD necessary.

How do you wear a LBD?

By accessorizing.

Put on a pair of red heels and a red necklace with a little red sweater and you are ready to go.

Put on a pair of brown leather boots, buckle a wide leather belt around your waste, toss on a brown leather jacket and you have a complete different look with the very same little black dress.

A fabulous pair of earring, a necklace or a scarf may be all that it takes for a complete new look. Accessorizing is the key.

Little White Dress

You've heard of the little black dress, and it's high time you supplied your closet with a new classic: the little white dress. White is perfect for any season and any occasion (except a wedding, unless you're the bride!). It works for warm weather because it's light, airy, and innocent. White also makes a great canvas for trying out new trends, like a pair of lemon-lime pumps, a statement necklace, or glittering sequined belt. So what are you waiting for?
